Why you should support local business

Supporting local business is vital in any city and I’m going to tell you why that is.

The #1 reason is to improve the local economy.  When someone buys local way more of that money will stay in the community and there was even a study that found 68% of money stays in the city which will help the city thrive for years to come.  Local businesses will support eachother more than coorporate chains.  The bigger chains like to keep most of the money for themselves and hardly give back to the community.

The next reason why you should keep an eye out for good local talent is that the customer service is almost always better.  The reason for this is that the local buy is likely well known in the community and needs to uphold a good reputation whereas the bigger chain doesnt really care as they dont interact with the members of the community whatsoever.

Another and probably the most important reason on why you should always go local is good old competition.  You see the way things work with these coorporate stores is that they have a huge monopoly in the marketplace.  If everybody shopped with them then they would control everything.  People must support local companies in order to give the top dogs a run for their money.

The final reason is to support entrepreunership.  Without solid entrepreneurs the world wouldnt be what it is today.  We dont want the chain to die so today make the decision to shop local.

Best Video Games Of All Time

It’s very obvious that if the words “Nintendo 64”, “Super Nintendo”, “Genesis”, “Atari” and “backup”, don’t ring a bell then there’s some bad news.  You’ve  missed out on something crucial in your life : video games.  What fun it is to mash buttons for hours on end with friends. The first 2D games that came out in color, the music in 16bits, oh the memories. Video games have come a very long way and we have put together a list of a few of our favorite ones, to determine what was THE best game of all time. We don’t say that “all video games on earth are so good that we never even had a have a social life because of them” we just want to focus on the best of the best.

Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64, 1996)

“! Wooh”, “! Yah”, “! Yipeee” These three words are stuck in your memory like an old song that you can’t get rid of, ever since you first learned the triple somersault 180 in Mario.  Another timeless classic.

Legend of Zelda

A Link to the Past (SNES, 1991): Nintendo returns, or rather, has already come, with the other game in the Zelda saga. This time of course not 3D, but a NES game that has the credibility of having sold 4.6 million copies. We believe that success comes with rose wick Link. Remember, it has relations with goron.

GoldenEye 007 (Nintendo 64, 1997)nintendo

The first game in the first person of the list (although this is heresy, if we would have seen Pierce Brosnan throughout the game then we can tell you that the ladies might have paid more attention to this little gem!), Goldeneye 007 is one of the only James Bond movies to be able to be adapted video game. Explosive missions, a multifunction watch, you can play this game for hours.

Final Fantasy VII (Playstation, 1997)

The latest game rankings. The Playstation was the best Final Fantasy series console. Breathtaking graphics, innovative fighting and virtually unlimited life: deserved success at it’s finest.

Super Metroid (Super Nintendo, 1994)

Who says girls and video games don’t go together? Certainly theres Peach who spends his time being abducted, and there’s Zelda who spends his time being abducted, but Samus is not one of those people. She’s armed with big guns and lives in space. Did we just reveal the perfect women to you? Maybe.

Legend of Zeldazelda

Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64, 1998): Officially it’s the only game in the world where you can nab turn a kokiri, a Zora, a princess, a goron and a horse. No wonder it’s in this list.

Street Fighter II (Super Nintendo, 1991)

The first fighting game ranking, Street Fighter is great value and fun in terms of uppercut, kick ball and other awesome moves. Oh, and most importantly, Chun-Li!

Super Mario World (Super Nintendo, 1990)

Did nintendo never stopped making hits? We think not! When we see that Super Mario World is just as charismatic today as it was at its release, we humbly bow to Miyamoto and jump on Yoshi looking color switches. OMG, there is even a blue Yoshi.

Tetris (Multiple Platforms, 1984)

A brick, plus a brick, two more bricks, and that makes a line, after plumber Mario, mason Tetris is almost meant to be.

Well what do you think?  What are the best video games of all time?
